Toddler boy graphic tees in 2T, 3T, 4T and 5T

At two and three, a boy's shirt choice is usually driven by one thing on the front of it. Dinosaurs, diggers, sharks, tractors. That is worth leaning into rather than resisting, because a tee he picks himself gets worn, and a tee he does not gets negotiated over every morning.

The toddler cut

Every tee here runs 2T, 3T, 4T and 5T on the same toddler block: roomy through the body, a shorter sleeve, and an oversized ribbed neck with a taped seam so it clears a head without a struggle. Side seams rather than tube construction keep the shirt from twisting around the body after repeated washes.

Built for the mess

Toddler tees take food, paint, grass and mud in a way that no other garment in the wardrobe does. Mid-tone and darker bases hide the aftermath better than white, and every print here is direct-to-garment, so the ink is in the fabric and a stain can be treated without the graphic lifting at the edges.

When to move up to youth

Around five, most boys sit between the two blocks. 5T is the wider, shorter shape; youth S is barely wider but more than two inches longer in the body. A stocky five year old is usually happier in 5T, and a tall, slim one gets more wear out of youth S.

Toddler boy graphic tees: common questions

Which size for a 2 year old?

2T for most, though tall two year olds are often already in 3T. Height is a better predictor than age at this stage.

What sizes does this collection cover?

2T, 3T, 4T and 5T in short sleeve, and 2T, 3T, 4T and 5-6T in long sleeve. Youth sizes S to XL are in the youth collection.

Are these cut differently from the toddler girl tees?

No. Same block, same fabric, same neck. Only the artwork differs, so a print from either collection fits exactly the same.

What prints do toddler boys actually wear most?

Dinosaurs first, by a wide margin, then construction vehicles and sharks. Western and cowboy prints pick up from about three and a half.

How do I get stains out without wrecking the print?

Cold water, a spot treatment on the fabric rather than directly on the graphic, and no hot dryer until the stain is gone. Heat sets stains permanently.

Are they short sleeve only?

No. The long sleeves come in 2T, 3T, 4T and 5-6T and run on their own size chart, about an inch wider than the short sleeve at the same size.
