A graphic tee is usually the first piece of clothing a child picks out for themselves. That makes it worth getting right. Every tee here is cut from combed ring-spun cotton with a taped neck and a shoulder seam that does not twist after washing, because the shirt has to survive a hundred wears, not a photo shoot.
Our range runs 2T, 3T, 4T and 5T in the toddler block, then youth S, M, L and XL. Toddler sizes are cut wider through the body for diapers and layering. Youth sizes are longer in the torso and narrower at the shoulder. If your child sits between two sizes, size up: cotton loses roughly two percent in length after the first hot wash, and a slightly long tee is worn far more than a slightly short one.
Cracked, flaking prints are the main reason a children's tee gets retired early. Ours are printed direct-to-garment with water-based pigment inks that are absorbed into the fabric rather than sitting on top of it, so the graphic stays soft and does not stiffen into a plastic panel across the chest. That kind of print fades slowly rather than splitting, so wash cold, inside out, and skip the dryer where you can.
Solid colors are 100% combed ring-spun cotton. Heather and vintage shades are cotton-rich blends, which is what gives them their flecked look. The exact composition for each color is on the product page.
Roughly two to fourteen years. Toddler 2T to 5T covers the youngest, and youth S through XL covers school age. Growth varies enormously at these ages, so measure chest and height against the size guide rather than going by age alone.
The body is the same cut across the range. What differs is the artwork. Sorting by boys or girls is there to help you browse faster, not to fence anything off, and plenty of parents shop across both.
Solid colors are. Heather and vintage shades are cotton-rich blends, usually around 52/48 or 90/10 depending on the color, which is standard for how those fabrics are made. Each product page lists the composition for the color you are looking at.
No. Direct-to-garment ink is absorbed into the cotton instead of forming a surface layer, so there is nothing to crack off. It does fade gradually, so turn the shirt inside out, wash cold, and tumble dry low or hang.
Expect one to two percent after the first wash, which is normal for cotton and already accounted for in the pattern. A hot wash and a hot dryer together will take more, so keep both cool.
Five to seven per size is the practical number for a week between laundry loads. Buy fewer and better rather than a drawer of shirts that pill after a month.
